经一位新加坡朋友的介绍，我认识了这一本对很多面对叛逆期小孩问题的父母亲很有帮助的书 — The Happiest Toddler on the Block。
”The Happiest Toddler on the Block“的作者，Harvey Karp, M.D （The Happiest Baby On the Block 的作者），提供了停止一岁至四岁小孩每日闹情绪的新方式。
在书里，作者形容12个月至18个月的小孩为可爱的黑猩猩小孩（chimp-child)，18个月至24个月的小孩为原始人（Neanderthal)，24个月至36个月的小孩为山洞小孩(cave-kid)，36个月至48个月的小孩为多才多艺的村民(Versatile Villagers)。哈哈，很可爱的形容吧，其实想想也很有道理的。
