我的网上服装店已经开张了几个月，这几个月的生意还算不错，而且找到了更加好素质的服装。于是，我进口了一些外国的衣服，比如从香港，韩国，中国等等。
几次都顺利没事，但是这一次却发生了问题。吉隆坡国际机场的Customs打了电话给我，要我到那里要领我的包裹。我想真的糟糕，从蒲种到那里也要45分钟的路程，还要拿假期，真是费时费力费钱！
我们还是第一次到那里呢！到了那里，经过了几个柜台，终于拿到了我的衣服包裹！可是那里的官员说，我们必须缴付进口税，是包裹和运输费的30%哦！我的天！30%，我就需要付大概RM1000 块钱了！那还得了！
后来那里的官员“很好人”，愿意让我们“请喝咖啡”。。想想，如果不是请喝咖啡，那我的新衣服就得买得贵很多，于是便在没有办法下，我们请了他喝咖啡。难怪这些人都肥肥的，每天都有那么多的“咖啡”喝。如果是你，你会让像我们那样做吗？还是，宁愿花多一些钱，也不做那样的事？
最后，终于拿到了我的衣服，真的不简单哦！ 看看这一大箱的包裹，用硬纸皮包得很好。
其实想想，给咖啡钱并不是很大的问题，最重要收到的包裹里的衣服完美无瑕。现在，我们可以让你们看到我们运回来的漂亮的衣服。
下回，我们会更加小心。 我想我们可以考虑用海运，虽然慢，但是便宜很多。

they have probably cheated you lah. I never heard of import duty inclusive shipping cost. I did a quick check on http://tariff.customs.gov.my/ with keyword cloth, you probably only have to pay 10% sale tax.
Next time, try asking your supplier to put cheaper value on your purchase.
Doing business is like that. No pain no gain. =)

i do visit them to declare our goods too… same request from them… and solution as well… haha… the description on the item is important… pls check and next time u wont kena liao… gambateh ohh…
It’s like that one, don’t even say you with such BIG box. Mine last time I only got 3 clothes from Taiwan, very small box only, I got charged RM90+ -.-” Coz my friend in Taiwan being a such good citizen declared the actual value of the clothes *faint*
so actually do they have right to collect so called “imported tax duty”?
or just the sales tax?

how much the “coffee” cost u? had a look at http://tariff.customs.gov.my but dun understand. thought of buying a GPS device from taiwan. but heard from my friend that it will be charged for import tax as well :-S

ya, i hv the similar experience…
my sis sent me a parcel from dubai, ended up under catagory of “barabg halangan. haha…. so with their “help”, so i dun hv to pay tax & sirim…etc. sigh….
ya… I kena that bfor while I ordered some bags frm Taiwan shop, it was actually jz RM200++ and after adding shipment, total about RM400++… then the “很好人”的官员told me that I will kena 30% tax *faint*. and keep on hinting me by the statement “tapi hari mungkin boleh bagi discount lah…”!!!
luckily my hubby heard the other “很好人”的官员talked to another Mat Salleh at the nx counter, saying that won’t tax if the parcel is less than RM500.
then this “很好人”的官员 twist & turn… changed to other topic, and finally he said “hari ini u memang lucky lah!”…
somemore while he was checking my stuff, keep on hinting my bags r pretty… but I tried to act blurr and twist & turn too…
finally he got nothing frm me… hahahah!
guess I was really lucky as he said ;p
